Russia summons Armenian ambassador

The Ambassador of Armenia to Moscow, Vagarshak Harutyunyan, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, he was made a tough presentation against the unfriendly actions of Yerevan, the message published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
"The Armenian Ambassador in Moscow Vagarshak Harutyunyan, who was made a tough presentation, was called to the Russian Foreign Ministry," the Russian Foreign Ministry indicated.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that recently in the official circles and political elite of the Republic of Armenia there appeared certain doubts about the appropriateness of allied ties within the CSTO and with Russia, as well as in the implementation of the complex of tripartite agreements in Moscow, Yerevan and Baku of 2020-2022 on the ways of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
"In addition, a note of protest was presented indicating the unacceptability of insulting statements by the chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Robertovich Simonyan of September 6 to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the head of the information and press department of the ministry Maria Vladimirovna Zakharova and the Russian Foreign Ministry as a whole," the ministry said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed concern to Harutyunyan in connection with the detention in the republic on September 7 of blogger Michael Badalyan and the observer of the Sputnik Armenia radio Ashot Gevorkyan.
