Russia shut downs organization for aiding the terrorist group PKK/YPG-PYD

The Russian Supreme Court of the Adygea Republic closed Beritan Public Union, which allegedly protects the rights of women belonging to a Kurdish ethnic group, for its activities in connection with the terrorist PKK / YPG-PYD, Report informs citing the Huriyyet.
The society was closed due its political activity. This is contrary to its charter and to the law of Russiaon the establishment of civil society ”the court said.
It was reported that under the auspices of "women's rights protection", the organization made political statements about the actions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Iraq and Turkey.
