Russia reports two cases of South Africa coronavirus strain

Russia has detected its first cases of the South African strain of coronavirus, Report informs, citing the Russian Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing Watchdog (Rospotrebnadzor).
However, the Brazilian strain has not yet been found in the country, the watchdog said.
According to the federal service, to date, 28 cases of infection with the British variant and two cases of infection with the South African variant have been detected in the country.
Other coronavirus mutations were found in 16 cases.
