Russia sees rise in coronavirus cases

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia has increased by 57,212 over the past day, to 11,044,986. Report informs citing TASS that this was announced on Saturday at the federal operational headquarters to combat the new infection.

The number of hospitalizations due to coronavirus per day amounted to 9,902, which is 8.4% more than the previous day. The number of deaths due to coronavirus increased per day by 681, to 325,433.

The number of people recovered after infection with coronavirus increased by 25,525 per day, to 10,000,577. The proportion of discharged patients decreased to 90.5% of the total number of the infected.
