Russia's emergency minister dies in line of duty 

Russia's Minister of Emergency Situations, General of the Army Yevgeny Zinichev has died, Report informs via Russian media.

According to the ministry, Zinichev died in the line of duty.

The minister died in an accident that saved another man's life during an interdepartmental exercise in Norilsk.

The 55-year-old official headed the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations since 2018.
