Russia's coronavirus tally tops 730 thousand

Russia has reported  6,537 new COVID-19 cases, Report says, citing RIA Novosti. 

Thus, the country's offical number reached 733,699.

According to the Operational Headquarters of the country,  104 people have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total toll to 11,439 — a rate considerably lower than in many other countries hit hard by the pandemic.

So far,  504,021 coronavirus patients have recovered from the virus. 

Moscow lifted restrictions including compulsory travel passes on June 8, a move welcomed by residents who rushed out to enjoy the streets and parks. Many other regions lifted lockdown restrictions ahead of a July 1 national vote despite the pandemic. 

However, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, has extended Russia's ban on international flights until Aug. 1 due to the coronavirus.
