Russia reports nearly 20,000 new coronavirus infections in one day

The number of new coronavirus cases in Russia has reached 19,536 over the past day, Report informs, citing Russia's Operative Headquarters.
The figure brings Russia's overall COVID-19 tally to 6,804,910 people. The death toll from coronavirus has reached 178,423 people after 809 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.
Overall, the country has reported 6,073,157 recoveries since the pandemic began.
