Russia reports 25,704 coronavirus cases in one day

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Russia has reached 25,704 people in one day, taking the overall case count to 5,907,999, the operational headquarters told reporters today.

Report informs, citing TASS, that the number of deaths due to COVID-19 has risen to 799 in one day against 791 a day earlier. This is the maximal value since the onset of the pandemic. Conditional mortality has increased to 2.49%, according to the headquarters.

The number of recoveries has grown by 21,932, to 5,300,908 in one day. The share of patients discharged from hospitals makes 89.7% of the total number of those infected.
