Russia registers over 98,000 new COVID-19 cases per day

Over 98,000 new cases of coronavirus were registered per day in Russia, 14,046 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized, 9.7% more than the day before, and 673 people died, Report informs, citing the Operational Headquarters.

At the same time, the spread of the omicron coronavirus strain is recorded in 74 regions of the country.

Over 29,500 people recovered from the new coronavirus infection per day, which is 0.8% less than the day before.

The number of coronavirus deaths increased by 673 per day, totaling 329,443.
