Russia records almost 23,000 COVID cases per day

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 22,866 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 6,447,750.
To date, a total of 164,881 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 787 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 5,755,507.
More than 203.1 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 4.3 million lives, though unable to cope with 182.47 million patients, who managed to recover.
