Russia declares Alexei Navalny terrorist

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and his followers have been included in a list of "terrorist, extremist organizations and individuals."

Report informs that the relevant note was added to the register of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring.

Under Russian law, banks have to freeze the funds of those on the list and suspend serving them.

The 45-year-old politician has been in prison for more than a year.
