Reason for postponement of Nikol Pashinyan's visit to US revealed

Baku. 20 September. REPORT.AZ/ The reason for postponement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to the United States has been revealed, Report informs citing 168Cham.

"Donald Tramp refused from the meeting requested by Armenia. Afterwards, they tried to organize the meeting of US Vice President Mike Pence and Nikol Pashinyan. Pence also refused to meet with the head of the Armenian government, " the publication reads.

The article notes that official Yerevan's last hope is to organize a meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.

Notably, his visit to the United States and meetings were scheduled for September 21-22. When the US senior officials refused to meet him, Nikol Pashinyan said that he had postponed his visit due to the September 23 elections to the City Council of Elders
