Putin: Russian arms exports in 2022 already reached $8B

This year, Russian arms exports have already reached $8 billion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an event in honor of the 15th anniversary of State Corporation to promote the development, production and export of high-tech industrial products “Rostec”, Report informs.
“Today it is clear that a significant part of the weapons goes to the needs of the Armed Forces, but even under these conditions, we have already sold eight billion dollars’ worth of weapons abroad to the world arms markets,” he said.
The Russian leader stressed that this is a good result under the current conditions. In addition, contracts have been concluded for even larger amounts, he noted.
