Putin, Erdogan discuss situation in South Caucasus

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin have held a phone conversation, Report informs, citing the Kremlin.
After exchanging congratulations on the occasion of the New Year, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan summed up the main results of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to further intensifying the mutually beneficial partnership between Russia and Turkey.
The presidents also touched upon international issues, including certain proposals for the development of legal agreements guaranteeing the security of the Russian Federation, the situation in the South Caucasus, and the settlement of conflicts in Syria and Libya.
The presidents noted that they would continue personal contacts.
