Putin addressing Russian Federal Assembly with annual message

Russian President Vladimir Putin is addressing the Federal Assembly with his annual message, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

In his message, Putin traditionally sets out his assessment of the state of affairs in the country and the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the state.

The Russian president is delivering a message at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.

Earlier, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that in 2021 an appeal to parliament will cover post-COVID issues in one way or another.

In the conditions of the spread of coronavirus infection, restrictive measures were introduced in Russia. Throughout the ceremony, journalists must maintain social distance and wear masks. Having several negative COVID tests is another necessary measure.

As many as 435 journalists have been accredited to cover the event this year.
