Prisoners stage hunger strike in Armenia

About 20 prisoners in Armenia's Vanadzor prison have gone on a hunger strike, Report says, citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to Gevorg Petrosyan, 20 prisoners staged a hunger strike due to the extension of the legal proceeding.
Another member of the party, Naira Zograbian, said that if the government did not meet the demands of prisoners, the number of protesters would increase.
Earlier, Advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Gor Abrahamyan said 20 prisoners had been released as part of measures to combat the coronavirus.
