Tbilisi. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has met with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on a working visit to France.

Local bureau of Report informs that the relations between the two countries in different spheres, the EU-Georgia relations were discussed at the meeting in Paris.

Macron said that France continues to support Georgia's sovereignty and internationally recognized territorial integrity.

The sides also considered the situation and security issues in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region, and exchanged views on further strengthening of economic relations between Georgia and France and signed a declaration on cooperation between the two countries.

Zurabishvili invited the French President to visit Georgia.
