Premier: Ukraine preparing for nationalization of all Russian property

The government of Ukraine is working on approving an appropriate mechanism to start the process of nationalization of Russian property in the country, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"We have already begun all these processes. Of course, we will nationalize all Russian property in order to compensate for some of the losses that Russia is inflicting on us," Shmyhal said.

When asked whether court decisions would be needed during the nationalization of Russian property, the prime minister replied that in wartime conditions, actions would be in accordance with the new law that would comply with these conditions.
