Population of Kazakhstan reaches 20 million

The population of Kazakhstan has reached 20,000,000 people, country's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in a post on the social network X, formerly Twitter.

"The population of Kazakhstan has reached 20 million! Congratulations to my compatriots on this significant event! A happy family is the foundation of the well-being of the nation and the sustainable progress of the country," the president wrote.

Tokayev noted that the state will continue to work to strengthen family values and protect motherhood and childhood.
