The Transport Ministry of Kazakhstan has published a preliminary report on the investigation into the incident involving the Embraer-190 aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, Report informs.

The ministry published photos of fragments from the crashed aircraft.

"During the initial inspection of the preserved fragments, numerous through and blind damages of various sizes and shapes were discovered in the rear part of the fuselage, vertical stabilizer and horizontal stabilizer, elevator and rudder. Similar damages were found on the aircraft's left engine and left wing, as well as on the aircraft's units and components. In some places, the damages are in the form of regular rectangles," the experts noted.

The report also states that numerous foreign objects were removed from the deep damage to the aircraft with the participation of authorized representatives of law enforcement agencies from Brazil, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. It was noted that appropriate studies and examinations will be conducted to determine the nature and origin of the through damages caused by foreign objects.

The report includes photographs showing evidence of damage to the electrical wires of the stabilizer control actuator (pitch trimmer), presumably caused by external objects before the crash. The text notes that these damages would result in the failure of the first and second pitch trim channels.

Additionally, photographs and graphics were published showing evidence of damage to the aircraft's hydraulic systems 1, 2, and 3, presumably caused by foreign objects before the crash. It was noted that these damages would result in hydraulic fluid/pressure loss.
