Pezeshkian and Pashinyan hold talks in Tehran

During a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Tehran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to develop and strengthen.
According to Armenian media, cited by Report, the sides also exchanged views on regional issues, emphasizing the importance of taking consistent steps aimed at strengthening peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
Pezeshkian also congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia's parliamentary elections.
The Armenian prime minister arrived in Iran to attend the farewell and funeral ceremony for Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, who was killed on February 28 in U.S. and Israeli strikes.
