Peskov: Preparations underway for mutual visits of Russian, Chinese Leaders

Preparations are underway for the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Beijing and Chinese President Xi Jinping to Moscow, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs via Russian media.

According to Peskov, these visits are related to the celebration of the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow on May 9 and the anniversary of the end of World War II in Beijing in September.

"Yes, such visits are being prepared. We attach great importance to the memory of these important events, the contribution of our countries to the fight against Nazi manifestations, as well as the symbolism of these dates for our bilateral relations. Therefore, active preparations are underway for such contacts now," Peskov noted.
