Secretary of Russian Security Council: Most conflicts in world are a consequence of adventures of third countries

Most of the conflicts in the world are the result of adventures of third-countries, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev said at the opening ceremony of the Moscow Conference on International Security.

"In most cases, these conflicts are the result of military adventures and attempts by individual players to take on the role of regional, and often global arbiters, to force other members of the international community to play to their tune," the Russian Security Council secretary said.

"The key task of the international community is to build a world free from conflict and violence.

"This is possible only under the condition of the faithful observance by all countries of the international agreements, as well as the strengthening of collective principles, above all, the UN mechanisms, " Patrushev added.
