Last month, Georgia's Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Mestia and Ambrolauri airports served 583,104 passengers, according to Georgian Airports Association informed.
Report's local bureau informs that, compared to the annual average, there was an 11% drop in the number of passengers at the airports of the neighboring country. In January-August, 3,640,823 passengers were served at 5 Georgian airports. This is 8% more compared to the last year.
The reason for the decline in passenger flow is the direct shutdown of Russia's flights to Georgia from July 8.
