Passenger train derails in Iran

A passenger train traveling on the Tabriz–Mashhad route has derailed in Iran.
According to Tasnim, cited by Report, the incident occurred in the Mianeh area of Iran's East Azerbaijan province.
"The passenger train Tabriz–Mashhad derailed in the Turkmanchay area," the agency said.
Rescue teams from the local branch of the Red Crescent Society have been dispatched to the scene. There are currently no reports of casualties or fatalities.
