The main task for Armenia is to achieve long-term peace in the region, and not to ask the West to open military bases and supply arms, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Report informs.
When asked about the historical ties between Armenia and Russia, Pashinyan called, first of all, to focus on the historically longer neighborhood with Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
“Here are all the questions and here are the answers to all the questions. And I bring forward this logic that we should work, first of all, to improve our relations in our region, with whom we have good relations, to make those relations better,” he said.
