Pashinyan on tripartite meeting in Brussels

The government of Armenia has adopted a peace agenda and determination is needed to put this agenda into action, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting, commenting on the outcomes of the trilateral meeting in Brussels.

"I met with the President of Azerbaijan yesterday, in Brussels, through the mediation of the President of the European Council. Yesterday we issued a press release following the meeting, which indicates the topics discussed and the decisions taken. These are working decisions, it is clear that it was an extensive and difficult discussion, but I want to fix that our goals continue to be and should remain the same as I stated in my public speeches.The government of Armenia has adopted a peace agenda and here we also need determination to put this agenda into action.We must understand that this is not easy, possible solutions are not on the surface, we must continue consistent work, because both our decision and the will of the people is that a comprehensive peace be established in the region.There are simply no other details from the meeting, because everything we agreed on is briefly presented " Pashinyan said.

On August 31, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels. The parties agreed to intensify substantive work on a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
