Pashinyan announces when he will resign

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that he will step down during the last ten days of April to dissolve the parliament and call early parliamentary elections, Report informs referring to TASS.

“I will resign within the last ten days of April, according to the agreement between the parliamentary forces and the president of the republic. To preserve all the protocol events, on the seventh day I will put forward my candidacy for the post of prime minister, the other factions will not nominate candidates, and the My Step faction won’t elect me as prime minister. For the second time, the faction will again nominate my candidacy and again won’t elect me. The parliament will dissolve and there will be elections on June 20,” he noted.
