The Kyrgyz authorities have evacuated more than 24,000 people from villages located in the area of the border conflict with Tajikistan, according to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Citizens evacuated from the conflict zone are accommodated in temporary shelters and at relatives’ homes. A total of 24,237 people were evacuated. Citizens relocated to temporary shelters are provided with food and other essentials,” reads the report.
