Nursultan Nazarbayev says Kazakhstan will be one of world's 30 most developed states by 2050

The official opening of the XVII Eurasian Media Forum "2021: The world in search of new meanings" was held in the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan.

Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev read Nursultan Nazarbayev's address.

The appeal noted that holding the forum online for the first time did not affect the importance and broad discussion of current issues in Eurasia and the world.

It was noted that this year Kazakhstan marks the 30th anniversary of its independence. Today Kazakhstan faces a new ambitious task to join the 30 most developed states of the world by 2050.

Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Rovshan Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, Kamran Hasanov, Chief Adviser of the Mass Media Sector of the Presidential Administration's Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Digital Media, and Orkhan Sattarov, Chief Adviser of the Business Sector participated in the forum this year.
