Number of travelers from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased before pandemic

In January-February 2020, 281,166 people traveled from Azerbaijan to Georgia, up 45,547 people or 19.3% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Interior Ministry of Georgia.

The number of travelers made up 155,769 people in January, 125,397 people in February.

Over the coronavirus pandemic, the borders between the countries have been closed since March 14, 2020.
