Number of children killed in Ukraine due to Russian aggression greatly grows

Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has already affected 779 children. Of these, 287 children were killed, another 492 were injured, Report informs referring to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

Most of the affected children accounted for the Donetsk region - 217, Kharkiv - 132, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Luhansk - 53, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 48, Zaporizhzhia - 30, Sumy - 17, Zhytomyr - 15, as well as in Kyiv city - 16.

The number of killed children over the past day has increased significantly, as it became known about the death of 24 more minors in Mariupol as a result of shelling by the occupiers.

However, these figures are not final, because work continues to establish them in places where active hostilities are taking place and in the temporarily occupied territories.
