Tbilisi. 27 February. REPORT.AZ/ The number of flu infection cases Georgia may increase next month.
Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs that the due statement came from Director General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia Amiran Gamkrelidze.
According to him, the current stage of influenza infection has dropped to the background level: "The number of complaints regarding flu has dropped dramatically. According to the indicators of the last week, 100 cases were observed per 100,000 inhabitants. If the hospitalization was 41 per cent in December, now this figure is between 19 to 20 per cent."
Gamkrelidze noted that the spread of influenza is not ruled out in March.
