Tod D. Wolters, Commander, U.S. European Command and NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), expects a new personal meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia - First Deputy Minister of Defense Army General Valery Gerasimov at the beginning of next year.

Report informs, citing TASS, that Wolters made the statement at a meeting with reporters in Washington. "I had the opportunity to meet with General Gerasimov face to face in the fall. And we (both - eds.) expect that we will have the opportunity (again - eds.) to meet face to face at the beginning of 2020, " commander said.

Notably, their previous meeting was held in Baku on November 26.
