Moscow outruns China in COVID-19 cases

6,703 people tested positive for coronavirus in Moscow in the last 24 hours, Report says, citing the Operational Headquarters of the country.

According to the information, 92,676 capital residents have contracted COVID-19 so far.

The number of positive cases in Moscow with 13 million population, is higher than in China, the epicenter of the pandemic. China has confirmed 82,885 positive cases until today.

According to the latest data, Russia’s coronavirus tally has risen to 177,160 with 23,803 recoveries, while 1,625 people died of the virus.
