More than 74 per cent of crimes committed in Georgia this year not solved

17,821 crimes were registered in Georgia in January-March 2019, Local bureau of Report informs citing the Interior Ministry.
The number of criminal cases per year rose by 27.29%. The Georgian Interior Ministry has managed to solve 26.36% of the crimes.
During the reporting period, vast majority of criminal cases were related to property damage (7,466), health damage (3,115) and drugs (1,295). In annual comparison, cases related to property damage rose by 25.94%, harm to health by 26.66% and drug-related crimes by 36.03%.
According to the report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, only 6 214 criminal cases were committed in March alone, with only 22.03% of them were solved.
