Miners do not leave mine protesting in Georgia

Tbilisi. 3 November. REPORT.AZ/ The miners are protesting in Tkibulli, Georgia.

Georgian Bureau of Report News Agency informs that the miners who descended into the mine named after Dzidziguri yesterday did not leave there.

Nearly 25 migrants continue to stay at a depth of 300 meters. Miners demand government immediate recovery of production process in mining and to ensure highest security standarts. They said they would stay in the mines until their demands were met.

Other miners will hold a protest action at 12:00 today at the Tkibuli Municipality.

Notably, four miners were killed in the accident at Mindeli mine in Tkibulli on July 16. The activity of all mines in Tkibulli were suspended after the incident. Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Giorgi Kobulia said the production process would be restored at the mine in mid-December.
