Moscow is focused on the implementation of all economic projects with Ankara, which are of a strategic nature and remain an important element of the region’s security, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told TASS on May 29 following the results of the presidential elections in Türkiye, Report informs.

He noted that Russia and Türkiye will continue the political dialogue. “We will continue our cooperation with Türkiye. We aim to implement all economic projects that are of a strategic nature. They are mutually beneficial, they are an important element of regional security. Political dialogue will continue. Naturally, there are other areas as well - tourism, cultural ties and many, many others,” he said.

All agreements between the Russian Federation and Türkiye, including on the implementation of the gas hub project, are systemic in nature, and the work is proceeding according to plan, he added.

“I would like to emphasize that all the agreements are of a systemic strategic nature. We are working on them in accordance with the agreements at the highest level and in accordance with the work plans for each such project,” he said, answering the question of whether the Russian side expects that after the elections in Türkiye, work on the implementation of the gas hub project will intensify.
