“We are working with US and Qatar to ensure the operation of the Kabul Airport,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu told NTV.
“Our 19 technical personnel is in the Kabul Airport. The most significant issue is security both inside and outside the airport. Taliban thinks they are able to ensure security. However, it’s impossible inside. Currently, the airport is open for technical flights and the delivery of humanitarian aids. Some domestic flights are also carried out. We have evacuated our citizens. ISIL is in Afghanistan. The main reason for this is those who are working in northern Syria under the guise of fighting ISIS,” he said.
