Agreement on rescue work in Caspian Sea discussed in Ashgabat

The first meeting of representatives of the Caspian States to discuss and coordinate the draft agreement on cooperation in search and rescue operations in the Caspian Sea has kicked off in Ashgabat, Report informs citing Neutral Turkmenistan.

As noted, the two-day meeting of experts from Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Russia was organized by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry and the State Enterprise for the Caspian Sea under the President of the Republic.

Representatives of the "Caspian five" are discussing the principles of cooperation between the relevant structures of the coastal countries in the search and rescue operations in the case of natural and man-caused emergency situations in the Caspian Sea.
