Media: US demands Pashinyan that he does not allow Russia to control communications

The US demands the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, that he does not allow Russia to control the communications that will be opened between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Iravunk newspaper of Armenia, Report informs.
The matter is about the opening of the Nakhchivan-Mehri-Ijevan-Horadiz railway line.
"The process of opening transport communications from the Western districts of Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through Armenia is widely analyzed in the United States. Washington believes that if Russia controls this road, it will mean a serious defeat for the United States in the South Caucasus region," the newspaper said.
