Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has decided to carry out “personnel purges” in his team, Report informs referring to the Zhokhovurd newspaper.
Pashinyan ordered to dismiss as soon as possible all those officials, even not high-ranking ones, who are not members of the “Civil Contract”, do not share the ideas of the party and “dare to remain neutral.” This applies to all areas - healthcare, sports, education, including secondary schools and kindergartens, etc.
The Yerevan mayor’s office recently reported that the directors of 11 kindergartens were fired. Sources say the main reason was that they were not members of the ruling party.
“Thus, we can state that the velvet revolutionaries who proclaimed Armenia a “bastion of democracy” do not tolerate any criticism, opposition statements or disagreement,” the publication notes.
