PACE President to visit Georgia

President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Lilian Mori Pasquier is to pay a visit to Georgia on April 29-30.
Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs that the PACE president made the due statement following the meeting with her Georgian counterpart Mamuka Bakhtadze in Strasbourg.
Within the framework of her visit to Tbilisi, Pasquier will attend the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Georgia's membership in the Council of Europe (CE).
During the meeting the sides discussed the issues of mutual cooperation between Georgia and the European Union and noted Georgia's recent achievements in the field of democracy and reforms.
