Kyrgyzstan, Georgia sign cooperation agreements

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov and Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held official talks, Report informs via Akipress.

The negotiations concluded with the signing of several documents aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields.

In particular, agreements were signed on cooperation between the aviation authorities of the two countries, management of state property, and joint activities in livestock development. Additionally, the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Georgia signed a cooperation program for 2027–2028.

The sides also agreed to exchange information and cooperate on nuclear safety and physical protection of nuclear facilities. A memorandum on cooperation in education was also signed.

Special attention was given to the development of trade and economic relations, including an agreement on organizing preliminary information exchange regarding transported goods and vehicles between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia.

The package of documents also included an agreement on cooperation in sports and a memorandum on mutual activities between the justice ministries of the two countries.
