Kazakhstan extends state of emergency until May 11

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced the extension of the state of emergency in the country until May 11 due to the coronavirus infection, Report informs.
"By the law, we will complete the state of emergency on May 11, unless, of course, there is a new mass outbreak of the epidemic. I hope that this will not happen."
Moreover, The State Commission for ensuring the State of Emergency is ready to ease the quarantine regime in regions and cities where the situation is under control."
According to the latest data, more than 2.7 thousand people contracted the virus in the country, while 25 lost their lives.
