Japarov: Kyrgyzstan to start printing national currency soon

In the near future, Kyrgyzstan will start printing the national currency (Kyrgyz som) within the republic, President Sadyr Japarov said during a solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Kyrgyzstan.

The president reminded that Kyrgyzstan was one of the first states of the former Union to introduce its national currency into circulation.

In February, he said that the necessary equipment for printing the national currency had already been purchased.
