Iran will strengthen its defense capabilities during the period of the agreement and ceasefire reached with the United States, Iran's Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics told Fars news agency.
Report informs that the ministry said it would support any understanding and agreement that serves the interests of the Iranian people.
The ministry noted that if the United States violates the terms of the preliminary agreement or memorandum, Iran will swiftly and decisively restore the military situation in the region to what it was before the agreement.
It said Iran would keep the readiness of its armed forces at a higher level than before so that the enemy is compelled to fulfill the terms of the agreement and comply with its obligations.
