Iran's military commented on the crash of the Ukrainian Boeing 737-800, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
The downed airliner was mistaken for a "hostile target" in anticipation of the US attacks on bases in Iraq, which became a response to the murder of IRGC General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad.
