Iran refuses to hold direct contacts with US, EU on nuclear program

The Iranian government has rejected a proposal by the United States and the European Union to establish direct diplomatic contacts over Tehran's nuclear program, Report mentions, referring to The Wall Street Journal.
According to the newspaper, this could lead to increased tensions between Western countries and Iran.
Reuters said the US was disappointed by Iran's move.
