The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Iranian government have agreed to expand cooperation, said IAEA Director-General Rafael Mariano Grossi after talks in Tehran with Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Agency.
The head of the agency said that the cooperation included visits of IAEA experts and inspectors to Iran.
IRNA reports that Salehi assessed the talks as "constructive" and said they would act within the framework of their commitments.
The IAEA Director-General arrived in Tehran yesterday to inspect two former Iranian nuclear facilities after months of tensions between the parties.
